PARAGLIDING - A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE

Yesterday me and my husband were talking about this Paragliding experience that we had  when we were in  Manali and suddenly those memories and beautiful views started popping up in my mind and thought to pen down it in this blog. Though I have mention  about it in one my blogs but than I thought that I didn't justice well to that memorable experience.so here I am writing about it in detail.

Guys if you are an adventure lover or not doesn't matter. Whenever you get chance of doing this experience just don't step back I repeat don't. This will be one of your those lifetime memories which you'll always want to relive. When we were traveling in Manali to nearby places our driver cum guide took us to this place were people Paraglide and it is on Manali Kullu road.

The views along this journey were beautiful and then we reached there. We talked about safety issues and they said that its almost safe because they have experienced pilots who will fly with us and then we decided to do it. Though I was feeling scared a bit or actually more than that and it increased when we sat in the jeep which was going to take us to the take-off point. The route was so dangerous as it was at a great height. My heart was beating fast while looking outside the window and those deep valleys which were terrifying just one step forward and you'll be down.At last we reached after almost 20 -25 minutes to the take-off point.

The mountains and those views from that height were just out of words. It was at the height of 2500 meters from the land and then we were assigned to our pilots with whom we have to paraglide. And then the instructor of this group asked me to come forward and I must say that the most thrilling and dangerous part. For once I also thought that am I doing right like taking this much risk? But the pilot who was with me comforted me.

And here comes the most thrilling part take off. I remembered the instructor was explaining to me that you have to run down this mountain and if you won't you can be in trouble and I was like what?? And then we were just about to take off and he shouted Run! Run! Don't stop and actually, there is no easy way off doing it you just have to run down off the mountains or we can say literally jump off the mountains and within no time you'll launch yourself in the air.

The rest is plain sailing(or flying). Once you're done with your take off than you'll feel as light and free just like a bird. I started to relax and enjoy the scenery around me as I felt safe that my pilot know what he was doing and I just let myself sway and flow with the wind. And what a magnificent scene it was!

 You just can't take your eyes off to those views and capturing your experience. Then my pilot and I had some talk about this he asked me how am feeling and I was like what to say its kinda "DREAM COME TRUE".I could see the snow-capped mountains and below me, there was a beautiful view of Beas river and the roads and miniature of that place.

We were there almost 15 minutes in the sky and then as we floated down, The miniature world started to look realistic. I can make out the rooftops and people and villages. Then I started to wonder how would we get down,I hadn't thought about this as I was preoccupied with the thought of running off down the mountain! Luckily my pilot was well experienced and we have a pretty good flight and as well as smooth landing.

And when I reached the land my heart was fell with a kind of happiness that one can't explain through words.It was just magical and its much more wonderful than scary. And please guys even its kinda costly don't leave this I m sure after doing this experience you'll felt that you wasted something, because today going back to those memories I really don't regret paying off that amount and so won't you.

I really had a great mesmerizing experience and I can't wait to do it again.
